This is not a module, but rather, changes to the core files.

Modification to display the tax on a separate line in the side shopping cart, as well as in the email confirmation sent to the user.

It also changes the Attribute price change to be pre-tax (rather than post-tax).

You can check it out on my test server:  http://www.PrestoChangeo.com/123/
Tax is set for Europe and the attribute price impact can be seen on http://www.Presto-Changeo.com/123/product.php?id_product=7

There is also a documentation file that lists all of the files and line numbers that were changed, as well as the purpose of the change.

It is designed for any prestashop version 1.2 and 1.3

2010-08-12 Michael J. The mod works great it is a must for anyone using PS in the U.S. Better than that, thank you for the great customer support online and for fixing my mess-up. To see it in action https://www.myfitstoreonline.com
2010-05-20 Peter K. This a great modification and a necessary one for anybody doing business in the US. It fixes the attribute price/tax issue which is more than worth the price of this mod for shops like ours that rely on a lot of attributes! Bottom line... makes everything clean and consistent from the homepage to checkout to the invoice.

The one very minor issue I had was on the Specials Block... the crossed out price (orginal price without reduction) was displaying the original price with tax included, but I manged to find a simple fix for that. I posted it at http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/55065/configuring___using_prestashop/specials_block_tax_not_included_price_dot_
2010-02-03 Andreia C. Just wanted to say I installed your Tax on a Separate Line mod and it worked great! It’s THE answer to the sales tax problem for anyone running a store in the US.

As a side comment to those out there trying to make PrestaShop work for the US market, make sure in the Shipping > Zone > States area you edit each State to only apply Sales tax and not product tax.

Thank you again!
Andie
